Our story
Bred with love, raised with care
We're a small family breeder dedicated to raising healthy, happy AKC miniature dachshunds with beautiful painted coats and wonderful temperaments.
Pretty Painted Mini Doxies started with a simple love for dachshunds — their big personalities, their loyalty, and those gorgeous painted coats that make every one of them a little work of art.
We're a family operation, which means our puppies are born and raised right in our home. They grow up with kids, other dogs, and all the sounds and rhythms of everyday family life — setting them up to be confident, well-adjusted companions.
Every breeding decision we make is guided by health, temperament, and conformation. We health test our breeding dogs, follow AKC guidelines, and stay involved long after your puppy goes home.
Our breeding philosophy
What we stand for
Health above all
We health test every breeding dog and stand behind every puppy with a written health guarantee. No shortcuts.
Raised underfoot
Our puppies grow up in our home — not a kennel. They're socialized with other dogs, and the everyday sounds of family life.
Lifetime support
When you get a puppy from us, you get us too. We're always a call or text away — for questions, advice, or just to share puppy photos.
Responsible breeding
We breed for temperament, health, and conformation—not just color. Every pairing is thoughtful and intentional. For our quality pet food, please visit Thepetnutritionstore.com.
